A former student enlightened me in a way I shall not soon forget when she observed, "There are no mistakes in art, only surprises". -Maddy, age 10. - A special friend recently asked me (as I sat at my dining room table creating, barely visible amongst the 'necessary' scrapbooking tools and supplies), "Were you not allowed to play with scissors and crayons as a kid?" Well, that pretty much says it all! You see yes I was allowed, I just never tired of the pleasure I could find in creating! So here I am some 30 years later, and nothing excites me more than a new punch, some patterned paper, an innovative new adhesive.... yeah, yeah, I know. Love that your MOM went for a pedicure so she could pose for the pic and page! Kudos to you for such awesome work!
I think this is the COOLEST page! Your mom's a great sport to have posed! I have a love affair with shoes/sandles too, so I know where she's coming from.
